Early Life:-

Ayushmann Khurrana was born and raised in Chandigarh and holds a master’s degree in mass communication from Panjab University’s School of Communication Studies. Ayushmann worked in theatre for five years and was one of the founder member of DAV College’s “Aaghaaz” and “Manchtantra” theatre groups, both of which are still functioning. Personal Life:-

In 2011, Ayushmann Khurrana married Tahira Kashyap. Ayushmann first met his wife in high school. Their parents knew each other’s parents. They both attended Punjab University (PU) and earned their master’s degrees in mass communication. They have two kids: Varushka Khurrana, a daughter, and Virajveer Khurrana, a male born on 2 January 2014 and 21 April 2014, respectively. Tahira Kashyap is a Mumbai-based author and educator.

For better luck in the film industry, Ayushmann modified the spelling of his name by adding an extra ‘n’ and ‘r’.

Ayushmann wed Tahira Khurrana, his childhood friend and the love of his life, in 2011. Aushmann is the father of Varushka and Virajveer. Before getting married, Tahira and Ayushmann were close family friends.


Ayushmann was born in Chandigarh and attended St. John’s High School. At DAV College, he majored in English literature. He later graduated from Chandigarh’s School of Communication Studies at Punjab University with a master’s degree in mass communication.

Ayushmann always aspired to be an actor since he was a child, but he was first turned down during auditions because of his thick brows and Punjabi accent. During the early stages of his career, Ayushmann worked as an RJ and then as a VJ for MTV India.

Ayushmann rise to fame in 2002 when he appeared in Channel [V]’s reality show ‘Popstars’. After that, Ayushmann competed in MTV Roadies season 2 and won the show. There has been no turning back for him since then.

According to some sources, Ayushmann’s father was suffering from cardiac difficulties and was seeking treatment at a private hospital in Mohali. Astrologer P. Khurana Ayushmann’s father died in the morning at 10:30 am in Mohali due to a long-term incurable illness.
