Coldplay Announces Ahmedabad Concert, Tickets for Music of the Spheres Tour Available November 16

British pop-rock sensation Coldplay has revealed a fourth show in India as part of their ongoing Music of the Spheres World Tour.

The newly added concert will be held on January 25, 2025, at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Ticket sales for this show will commence on BookMyShow starting November 16 at 12 pm.

This upcoming tour marks Coldplay’s return to India, where the band has not performed since 2016. Although ticket prices for the Ahmedabad concert are yet to be disclosed, the Mumbai concert prices ranged from ₹2,500 to ₹35,000, with special VIP lounge tickets priced at ₹35,000. The breakdown of ticket types for Coldplay’s concerts includes:

  • Regular Tickets: Price range from ₹2,500 to ₹35,000
  • Infinity Tickets: Priced at approximately ₹2,000 per ticket, available for purchase in pairs with a two-ticket limit per buyer
  • VIP Lounge Tickets: Cost ₹35,000

 New Ahmedabad Date Announced, Tickets Available Starting November 16

After confirming three performances in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, Coldplay surprised fans by adding the Ahmedabad show. Fans can purchase tickets for this event on BookMyShow starting November 16 at 12 pm IST. In line with the booking process for Mumbai, the Ahmedabad show will also feature a virtual queue system. BookMyShow will implement an Automated Queue Randomisation System to assign waiting room positions as fans attempt to secure their tickets when the sale begins.

Coldplay took to social media to announce the Ahmedabad show on November 13, sharing the news on the platform X. The post read, “2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED. The band will play their biggest ever show, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 January 2025. Tickets on sale Saturday, 16 November at 12 pm IST. #MusicOfTheSpheresWorldTour.”

Fans can expect a setlist filled with Coldplay’s most iconic hits from their extensive catalog, including Yellow, The Scientist, Clocks, Fix You, Viva La Vida, Paradise, A Sky Full of Stars, and Adventure of a Lifetime. This tour stop will mark the British band’s largest show in India, and it will come just days after they conclude their three concerts in Mumbai.

British Pop-Rock Icons to Perform in India for First Time Since 2016

The band comprises lead vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion.

 Coldplay’s last appearance in India was in 2016, when they performed in Mumbai as part of the Global Citizen Festival, an event that drew thousands of fans and featured a powerful lineup of global artists. Their return after nearly a decade of absence is eagerly anticipated by their Indian fanbase.
