Shahid Kapoor is a Bollywood actor who rose through the ranks of the Hindi film business, and his early parts in the films helped him establish himself as a chocolate boy. Shahid Kapoor, the son of actor Pankaj Kapur and dancer Neelima Azeem, began his career as a background dancer for Hindi films while studying at Shiamak Davar’s dance studio and has been in the industry for 20 years.

After popular films such as Jab We Met and Kaminey, the actor is not only known for his lovely looks but also for being a sincere and serious actor. Eastern Eye, a London-based weekly, named the actor the fourth ‘Sexiest Asian Man in the World’ in 2011. The actor was awarded the ‘Chivas Award for The Ultimate GQ Man’ in 2012. Early Life:-

Shahid Kapoor was born on February 25, 1981, in Delhi to actor Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem. He attended Gyan Bharti School and completed his primary education there. When he was three years old, his parents divorced. Pankaj Kapur relocated to Mumbai, while Neelima Azeem remained in Delhi as a dancer.

Shahid is said to have been very close to his maternal grandfather and that the two had a wonderful relationship. Every year on Shahid’s birthday, Pankaj Kapur, a struggling actor at the time, would visit him. Shahid moved to Mumbai with his mother when he was ten years old. Neelima Azeem married actor and voice-over artist Rajesh Khattar after moving to Mumbai, and the couple has a son, Ishaan Khattar.

Shahid Kapoor remained with Neelima and Rajesh till the couple split in 2001. Shahid and Ishaan, Shahid’s stepbrothers, maintain a positive relationship. Pankaj Kapur married Supriya Pathak, and the pair has two children, Sanah Kapoor, and Ruhaan Kapoor.

Shiamak Davar appointed him as Instructor in his institute after seeing his amazing dance talents. Shahid did countless TV commercials for Pepsi, Close-Up, Kit Kat, and other brands at the time.
