Student-Teacher Duo From Bengaluru Among CLAT Toppers 2024

Pradhyot Shah, a class XII student from the Mallya Aditi International School, Bengaluru, secured the coveted rank II, while his mentor from Career Launcher (also the Business Partner), Rahul Reddy, achieved the equally valued III rank. The proximity in their ranks is not the only surprise element. The fact is: both of them achieved the exact score, but Pradhyot’s better performance in the legal section pushed his ranking ahead of his mentor Rahul’s ranking (according to the tie-breaker rules).

While the scores of Pradhyot and Rahul are the same, their goals are not. Pradhyot appeared for CLAT 2024 to fulfil his ambition of making a career in the field of law. But, according to reports, Rahul appeared in CLAT 2024 to challenge himself to hone his teaching skills. He aimed to improve by putting himself through the same entrance test he prepares his students for.

This is not the first time Rahul has taken the entrance test. It’s the third time he has appeared in a law entrance test and has achieved impressive ranks. Pradhyot, just like his mentor, has shown equal consistency in his efforts to achieve a high rank. As reported, despite being born to architect parents, he committed himself to CLAT 2024 by regularly and dedicatedly preparing for it.
