Inspired by bowling legends Wasim Akram and Zaheer Khan, Kuldeep Yadav became a wrist-spin bowler and made Shane Warne his role model, studying Kuldeep Yadav’s grip, and length of deliveries. Kuldeep Yadav difficult period in his life when he contemplated giving up cricket and even contemplated suicide after not being selected for Uttar Pradesh’s under-15 team. However, Kuldeep Yadav persevered through this dark phase. In 2012, Kuldeep Yadav joined the Mumbai Indians squad, and in 2014, Kuldeep Yadav was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders and represented them in the 2014 Champions League Twenty20.
