On September 17, 1986, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Ravichandran Ashwin was born. Ravichandran Ashwin resides in Chennai’s West Mambalam. Career :

Ravichandran Ashwin made his international debut in June 2010, performing well in his first ODI against Sri Lanka but being overlooked for subsequent matches. Ravichandran Ashwin showcased his skills in the home series against New Zealand, emerging as the top ticket-taker and earning praise from captain Gautam Gambhir. Despite Ravichandran Ashwin’s consistent performances, Ravichandran Ashwin faced competition from other spinners and was not included in the starting line-up for several tours, including the South African trip and the World Cup squad selection. However, Ravichandran Ashwin continued to excel in limited-overs matches, notably in the series against England in 2011. Ravichandran Ashwin’s Test debut against the West Indies was remarkable, taking a five-wicket haul and scoring a century in the same match. Ravichandran Ashwin continued to excel in Tests, particularly during England’s tour of India in 2012, where Ravichandran Ashwin became the fastest Indian to reach 50 Test wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin’s performances in Test cricket earned him accolades, including the Man of the Series award. In limited-overs matches, Ravichandran Ashwin had mixed results. Ravichandran Ashwin struggled in overseas tours, particularly in Australia and New Zealand, but performed well in the Asia Cup and ICC World Twenty20 tournaments.
