Yashasvi Bhupendra Kumar Jaiswal is an Indian cricketer who plays for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Mumbai in domestic cricket, was born on December 28, 2001. At the 2020 Under-19 World Cup in South Africa, Yashasvi Jaiswal was the top run-scorer for the India U-19 squad and the tournament’s best player. Yashasvi Jaiswal was purchased by the Rajasthan Royals for 2.4 crore at the 2020 IPL auction. As the fourth of six children, Yashasvi Jaiswal was born to Kanchan and Bhupendra Jaiswal. Bhupendra Jaiswal had a small hardware business. Yashasvi Jaiswal relocated to Dadar, Mumbai, when he was 10 years old for cricket training at Azad Maidan. Yashasvi Jaiswal was eventually kicked out of a shop by an owner because he could not help much there while also practicing cricket. Yashasvi Jaiswal lived in a tent with the groundskeepers at the Maidan, where he sold panipuri to make ends meet.

Yashasvi Jaiswal initially gained notoriety in 2015 when he set an all-around school cricket record of 319 not out and 13/99 in a Giles Shield match, which was recognized by the Limca Book of Records. Later, Yashasvi Jaiswal was chosen for the Mumbai under-16 team and later the India under-19 team. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 173 runs off 220 balls in a Youth Test match against South Africa Under-19 in 2019. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 294 runs, in the under-19 tri-series. Yashasvi Jaiswal was included in India’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in December 2019. Yashasvi Jaiswal finished the competition with the most points and hit a century against Pakistan in the semi-final on January 7, 2019, Yashasvi Jaiswal made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy. On September 28, 2019, Yashasvi Jaiswal made his List A debut. When Yashasvi Jaiswal struck 203 runs off 154 balls against Jharkhand he became the youngest double centurion in List A cricket history on October 16, 2019. Yashasvi Jaiswal was among the top five run scorers with 564 runs in 6 matches at an average of 112.80 in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

On April 30, 2023, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 124 against Mumbai Indians to record his first century in T20 cricket. On May 11, 2023, against Kolkata Knight Riders, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the fastest IPL half-century with just 13 balls, breaking the previous mark shared by Pat Cummins and KL Rahul. The 21-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal accomplished this feat while playing for his team against the Punjab Kings in Dharamshala. With a score of 50 runs in just 36 balls, which included eight boundaries, Yashasvi Jaiswal maintained his impressive form during the game. Yashasvi Jaiswal has now scored 625 runs overall in 14 games. In IPL 2023 season, Yashasvi Jaiswal has amassed one hundred and five half-centuries, with a 124 as his highest score.
